Welcome to Copenhagen – a city known for its high quality of life, vibrant culture, and focus on education and sustainability. NBCBC are here to provide you with a world-class education, guide you, and help you settle into your new life in Denmark.

A New City to Call Home

As the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen is a vibrant European metropolis with a unique blend of old-world charm and modern innovation.

With a population of around 1.5 million, the city is considered one of the most sustainable cities in the world known for its cleanliness, eco-friendly initiatives and renowned bicycling culture.

Get Ready to Experience "Hygge"

Soon after your arrival, you’ll discover the Danish concept of “hygge,” which is often credited as one of the main reasons Danes are considered among the happiest people in the world.

Hygge is truly at the heart of Danish culture. Though difficult to define until you experience it, it’s a feeling of warmth, coziness, and togetherness, often shared over food, drinks, games, and, of course, great company.

Most Copenhageners are fluent in English and known for being friendly and helpful. Social interactions are typically relaxed and informal, making it easy to settle in and feel welcomed in your new city.
